The cattle and hunting farm „Kleepforte“ is only 50 km south-east from the international airport of Windhoek. Ever since the farm was purchased in 1973, the family has been breeding cattle, chiefly with Simmentaler and Brahman. Since 1980 “Kleepforte” is also an officially licensed hunting farm.
Upon your arrival, we will personally pick you up from the Airport (free transfer to and from the airport). After only a thirty minute drive through the wonderful Namibian tableland you will have reached your destination.
Our farm covers an area of 6.200 hectares and is part of the “Dordabis Conservancy”, a protected area of approximately 160.000 hectares.
Framed by larger chains of mountains, the savannah is intermittently broken up with small hills and so forms a fascinating topography, the primitive nature of which will never cease to enchant you. Short walks or longer hikes in this untouched landscape are unforgettable experiences, or you can enjoy this wonderful scenery on horse-back.
During the hottest hours of the day, or after a strenuous day’s stalking and hunting, or perhaps just hiking, the spacious swimming pool and shady “Lapa” are at your disposal. With a cool drink you can relax and renew your strength and just let the day go by.
Experiencing the unforgettable sunsets, in the evening sitting under the vast heaven of stars of the southern hemisphere in front of a camp-fire – these impressions will be engraved in your memory of enchanting Namibia.
