Natural hunting in Namibia
Our hunting farm “Kleepforte” covers an area of 6.200 hectares and is part of the “Dordabis Conservancy”, a protected area of approx. 160.000 hectares.
The fencing on “Kleepforte” is cattle fencing consisting of 5 steel wires and is merely 1.2 meters high. The game living here is easily able to either get through the wires or spring over the fences. On “Kleepforte” we do not support hunting within fences. On our premises you will be hunting game which is naturally found, for instance oryx, kudu, springbok or warthog (see also species under “Game”).

With a little luck, it is also possible to hunt leopards or cheetahs.
Thanks to our membership in the aforementioned “Dordabis Conservancy”, one is not necessarily limited to our farm “Kleepforte”. Hunting in the entire concession area of the Conservancy is theoretically possible, so that other animals such as zebra, blesbok or eland can be hunted.
Should you wish to include such an excursion in your hunting plans, then it is important to advise us in advance so that this may be organized accordingly.
An air of adventure will accompany you when you and your hunting guide Kalli go off stalking the wild animals living in this fascinating landscape. The day begins with a substantial breakfast, followed by the thrills of hunting. We are particularly focused on fulfilling your wishes as far as possible and will discuss with you beforehand the day’s hunting plans.
Certainly one of the most impressionable experiences of an African hunt is stalking through the savannah and hills of this grandiose countryside. For those preferring to hunt from raised blinds/hides, there are two on our premises.

Should you need to rent a weapon from us, we have a Sauer 202, cal. 375 H.&H. or a cal. 8x68 for large game (Oryx, Kudu etc.), and a Tikka .222 for smaller animals (jackal, baboon).
After a strenuous day’s hunting you can relax with a cool drink beside the swimming pool or rest in the shade of the thatched “Lapa”, enjoy the fantastic sunsets and afterwards give your undivided attention to Nicole’s delicious venison meals.
